Hello! My name is Samantha, a lover of golden retrievers, book series, and all things Taylor Swift.
I’m also a Clinical Psychologist who feels very privileged to support people through the trickier parts of life.
I work with people who often appear capable and put-together on the outside, but feel overwhelmed on the inside, and who are wanting life to feel a little calmer, more authentic, and more like their own on the inside.
Here, you don’t have to have it all together.
My hope is to create a space where, through curiosity and kindness, your inner experiences can start to make sense.
We’ll work together to discover a gentler way of understanding and caring for your emotions, so each day feels calmer, grounded and easier to manage. With time, experience a kinder relationship with yourself, where self-criticism softens as you begin to meet different parts of yourself with compassion and understanding.
What I Can Help With
-
Understanding how your anxiety developed as a form of protection and learning to manage it more effectively (generalised anxiety, social anxiety, OCD).
-
Supporting adults who want to explore how their brain works, including ADHD or Autism that may have been missed earlier in life due to masking, gender expectations, or being seen as “coping well.”
-
Setting and maintaining boundaries, expressing emotions clearly, and asking for help when you need care and support.
-
Identifying and appreciating your emotional experiences and learning to care for and cope with uncomfortable emotions.
-
Deeply understanding your sense of self, especially if you feel uncertain about who you are (such as being neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, etc.).
-
Recognising the patterns of prioritising others' needs over your own and learning how to prioritise yourself in the here and now.
-
Caring for yourself after a traumatic event and rediscovering your sense of self and functioning as it was before the event.
-
Navigating complex family and relational dynamics.

Life outside of the therapy room
As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person myself, I need plenty of time to relax and unwind. You’ll often find me watching Gilmore Girls, old-school Disney Channel shows, or re-living The Eras Tour. I am also privileged enough to be able to move my body and really love everything from strength training to gentle yoga. My favourite part of each day is walking along the beach with my husband and two silly and beautiful golden retrievers, Mabel and Dudley.

Nurture Space Psychology was created from a simple belief
therapy should feel relaxed, meaningful, and genuinely supportive, not clinical, rushed, or focused only on what appears to be “wrong”.
My training and early professional experience taught me that mental health care can sometimes lean heavily toward rigid, blank-slate approaches that focus on managing “symptoms” without always making space for what may be sitting underneath them. I felt increasingly drawn more to approaches that focused more on understanding people’s relationships, emotional patterns, past experiences, and the coping strategies they developed (for very good reasons).
This became even more important through my growing interest in high-masking and late-identified neurodivergent adults, particularly women (like me!), who may have spent years pushing through, masking how hard things feel, or trying to cope in ways that helped them get by but never really helped them feel understood.
Nurture Space Psychology was built to offer that kind of space; one that feels warm, thoughtful, and grounded. It is a place to better understand yourself, care for your emotions more gently, and move toward a life that feels more sustainable and more your own.
If this feels like the kind of space that might work for you, or if you are interested in finding out more, you are welcome to explore the services available or get in touch
